We look forward to the start of the Creative Writing in Later Life course that begins in the Redland Quaker Meeting House – May 11th. This course is led by Fiona Hamilton our Arts in Healthcare Lead. As this is the first of courses that we are hoping to deliver regularly in the future, participants will be able to actively contribute to the design of the course and aspects that they feel are particularly important when supporting health and wellbeing.
Our Mindfulness course continues with Dr Julia Wallond, this course is designed to support people with stress and anxiety. We continue to develop the DIPLOMA in INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE for healthcare professionals, with a launch date of January 2017.
The Portland Centre is very excited to be co-hosting a talk by Andy Weil who created the Arizona centre for integrative medicine. This talk is presently sold out with 180 individuals signed up. This month we have new team members joining us. Patti to join us as an Administrator in our main centre, work along side Terri. Tiffany will joining us shortly as Executive Assistant due to the continual growth of the organisation.
