Francine Russel

Associate Therapist (Food Educator)

Francine Russell has worked in the food business for over 25 years. She is qualified in Hotel Management & Catering (Brighton Polytechnic) with additional qualifications, Advanced Diploma in Nutrition -The Royal Society for the Promotion of Health (Bournemouth University) and a FAETC in teaching adults. In 2002 she set up a food training consultancy All About Food focusing on cooking for health and to a budget.

Francine writes and delivers courses and creates resources on all aspects of food education and training to the end-user or to trainers. Courses are aimed at cooking from scratch, skills-building, and budgeting for a range of clients and partners. She is experienced at working with hard-to-reach groups in disadvantaged areas, where health inequalities and diet-related illness are prevalent.

Francine has an interest in Mindfulness and has been practicing for 5 years. She is currently training as a Health & Wellbeing coach to complement her food education work. She is also a member of The Slow Food Movement.
