Fiona Wright found yoga in a book as a child and has been intrigued by meditation practices for years. She has a degree in Histtraveledelled for a few years studying mediation and yoga then qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1997.
Most of her career has been spent in the NHS working with people who have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome(M.E) and chronic pain. Over the past 8 years she has been exploring and developing Mindfulness based approaches completing a Mindfulness teaching qualification and an MSc at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. She enjoys supporting other health professionals integrate this work in the NHS for themselves and their patients. She also recently completed a yoga teacher training and runs Mindful yoga classes in her home town.
Mindfulness and yoga are important and enjoyable elements of her life while she continues to work in the NHS and bring up a family and all the chaos that entails!
